DESCRIPTION: The combination of procaine penicillin G and dihydrostreptomycin, both of natural origin and immediately absorbed, achieve a therapeutic blood level 12 to 24 hours after application, providing a synergistic action against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. It also contains 2% procaine hydrochloride to prevent pain at the injection site.
ACTION: It is immediate, reaching its maximum level in the blood between 15 and 30 minutes after its application. Its antibiotic power is broad-spectrum, destroying gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
INDICATIONS: For the treatment of infections caused by Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria, susceptible to penicillin and dihydrostreptomycin. In case of an anaphylactic reaction, administer epinephrine (adrenaline). Shake before use.
DOSAGE: From 2 to 3 ml for every 110lbs of weight.
1 ml for every 11lbs of weight every 24 hours for 4 - 7 days. In severe cases it can be administered every 12 hours.
